How to get to Lisbon, Portugal?
Lisbon Airport is located about 7.0 km from the city center. It has two terminals, serving multiple destinations around the world.
The airport is served with public transportation, Metro and Buses, and also Taxi and other ride-hailing services (e.g., Uber or Bolt). We recommend using Metro, as it offers a good connection from the airport to all the main parts of the city (see the map below).

Lisbon metro
North Lisbon Hospital University Centre is located ~5.0 km away from the city center. The easiest way to get around the city is by metro. The metro ticket can be purchased at the stations through a self-service ticket vending system. We recommend two ticket options, Zapping, which costs €1.47 for each journey, or 1 Day ticket, valid for 24 hours with unlimited journeys and costs €6.60.
Note: Cidade Universitária (yellow line) is the closest metro station to the conference venue (~850m), and Aeroporto (red line) is the closest metro station to Lisbon airport. The waiting time is ~5 minutes during rush hour and ~7 minutes during other hours.
